I'm trying to pick my room's deadbolt snigle cylinder lock but don't seem to be going anywhere.....

I can see from the keyhole that I've lifted the first pin (and I suppose the same for the rest as they are in the same path) but don't know what to do after that. As a second step, I usually try to turn the cylinder with a screw driver to the opening direction (clockwise). Is it the correct step? If not, what should I do instead?
