To atheists, agnostics, and free thinkers: Do you think religious people are mentally ill?

I wouldn't go so far as to say "mentally ill," though some are. It is a coping mechanism. I'm not perfect - I have coping mechanisms too. I think the religion one is more harmful, to individuals and societies, and would like to see it go away.
