How does the intelligence inside you view this ?

When a person lights candles in a dark room, the light from those candles only lit that room and the area outside that room remains in darkness. Using this ogy, if we keep the gifts of Almighty bestowed to us by him, restricted only to ourselves and not sharing them with our needy fellow human beings, are we not like the person lighting only his or her own room and ignoring the darkness of pain and suffering engulfing our needy human beings which could have been reduced had we shared our best help to them? The gifts that I am talking about need not necessarily be money but it could also be any special ability we are gifted with, any knowledge that we could impart, any important role that we could play in those afflicted people's lives.
