How can you tune my amp for clear b?

I just installed a 2 Mtx terminators and an Mtx 250 watt amp ( tna251 ). I have the b boost and loudness all the way max but it doesn't give me clear b. It just hits hard and sounds weird.. I have the amp volts all the way up and the LPf 3/4 way. How do I tune it for clean b?
