Christians: If God's justice is beyond our ability to comprehend, how do we know he acts justly?

I think it was Augustine who said that God can be more than human, but he must not be less. If that's so, then if someone claims that God is just while attributing to him actions that are less just than what humankind would consider just, they are obfuing to cover a lack of an adequate reply.
